I work with individuals who are seeking to create a better life for themselves. My coaching philosophy is based on the belief that my clients are whole and resourceful. The process of coaching provides the possibility for them to become more of who they are and what they want to be.
My coaching technique is blended with my many years of experience as a theater artist, as well as my strong intuitive abilities. I am supportive, compassionate and honest with my clients. I offer them a coaching partnership that is grounded in safety and trust which allows them to feel free to engage in self-discovery, visualize possibilities, and make choices that will create the movement they desire in their lives.
I grew up in Indiana and began my career 28 years ago in retail management in Los Angeles, California. Three years later I chose to follow my dream to pursue my talents in the performing arts and moved to New York City. I trained and performed as an actor, developed as a playwright, and became a founding member and theater administrator of The Actors Theatre Workshop. I've taught acting technique to adults and inner city youth, and assisted in creating an ongoing performing arts program for children living in temporary housing.
My bachelor's degree is from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio and my coaching credential from Coaching for Transformation, an ICF accredited training program, at the New York Open Center. I thoroughly enjoy life coaching and my clients are a constant inspiration to me!
